- Organized by voice type and style for quick browsing.
Why Use Our Audition Cuts?
Audition requirements often call for a short section of a song that shows off your best vocal moments without overstaying your welcome. Our tracks take the guesswork out of creating those cuts. Simply choose a track, download, and sing with confidence.

Audition FAQs
What makes a good audition cut?
A strong cut should tell a story and fit within the time limit. Aim for a beginning, middle, and end — even in 60 seconds. Choose a section that highlights your voice and emotional range.
Does a 32-bar cut have to be exactly 32 bars?
No! “32-bar” and “16-bar” are industry terms for short selections, typically 60–90 seconds long. Few casting teams count bars — they care more about time and storytelling.
Is it bad to sing an overdone song?
Not necessarily! A well-sung “popular” song usually beats an obscure one performed poorly. If you’re auditioning for colleges, avoid songs currently on Broadway or strongly linked to a famous performer. For community and youth theatre, overdone songs are rarely a problem.
